Monthly Challenge: BEACH DAY | Karen Burniston

Hi my Crafty friends,

Is time for another monthly Challenge Design for Karen Burniston Designer Team, and for this month challenge we choose: BEACH DAY. It is not a fun theme!!!???

I will go on Holidays this month so for me this is my favorite challenge!!!!! Right!!!????

So for this project I choose the OVAL FRAMES POP-UP die set to make my layout card, and then I choose several dies for make my scene!!!

Tilda Clown | Swedish House Crafts

Hi Everyone!!!!
I wanted to share a Card I have made using the adorable "Tilda Clown" from Magnolia. The collection is from 2018 and is called "Le Cirque", you can find the entire collection here.

I used Distress Reinkers to colour her and I used a mixture of papers from several Maja collections.

As you know I love creating several layers of paper to give my card a dimension, and with the blend of the beautiful colors of the Maja collections it is easy enough to create a beautiful layout. One of the techniques I use is to first create the card layout and then in the end colorize the image using the colors that predominate in my paper. This makes it much easier for me to create my projects.

When I think about creating a card I also see first what I have left over from my destash and after combining colors and idealizing the layout I start to execute my project, in this way I make great use of my scraps... almost entirely!!!!

This card was presented by HOCHANDA TV at the last Magnolia Show on May 20th.

LE CIRQUE - CAS CARD | Swedish House Crafts

Hi Everyone!!!!  I wanted to share a Card I have made for Swedish House Crafts, using the adorable "Tilda Cirque" from Magnolia. The collection is from 2018 and calls "Le Cirque".

And look  how lovely she is with her beautiful and fancy clothes, full of sparkles and colour. I think she is wonderful.

I used Distress Reinkers to colour her and I used the beautiful paper from Laserowe. I used a mixture of papers from several collections, such as "Vintage Tropical Island" and "Llama Love".

Lulu with Bunny | Paper Nest Dolls

Hi Everyone, !!!! And I wanted to share a Card I have made using the adorable "Lulu with Bunny" for the Paper nest Dolls the release of this month of March.

And look  how lovely she is with her beautiful curly hair and her close best friend. I think this is a wonderful image.

I use watercolors markers to color her and the beautiful paper from Echo Park. I hope you´re like it!!!!

SPINNER SQUARE POP-UP | Karen Burniston

Hello Peeps!!!!!!!!

Today I´ve made a card for May Karen Burniston Designer Challenge!!!!! Our challenge theme this month is .... "CONGRATS""

So my card is simply THANK YOU card for a very special friend who just congratulated me on the fact that I had achieved my goals at work. I think it still fits the theme, right?

For this card I use the stunning SPINNER SQUARE POP-UP and the new THANK YOU.

Avery with Bear | Paper Nest Dolls

Hi Everyone!!!!  I wanted to share a Card I have made using the adorable "Avery with Bear" for the Paper nest Dolls the release of this month of April.

Tunnel Card | Swedish House Crafts

Hi, Irene here with you today.
For this project I will make a Tunnel Card.
To make this tunnel Card I need to the card base the DooH-PE 14 Vintage Frames and Tags. We will need 5 frames from the biggest one die.

Then I will choose my image and stamp one into the first frame and another to watercolour paper. I will use Distress Markers to colour this image. The stamp it´s call: SS-16 Tilda Playing in the Water.

For this project I will use another stamps from Seaside Collection 2016, It´s call: SS-16 Seaside Kit and I will stamp several images and cut them out.

I will use the DooH-NA-17 Anchor (6 cutouts) and the leaves from Magnolia Doohickey Club vol. 7 (4 cutouts). I use to the anchor a little of Finger Wax – Water Based and Walnut Stain INK.
I stamp the background to give more definition to the image.

Now cut 5 frames using the DooH-PE 14 Vintage Frames and Tags and using a template, cut all the inside frames off. You can use the small one to make the template, and distress with Walnut Stain INK all the edges.Using foam I will apply all the frames together, starting from the smallest to the largest...

In each layer I will start by glue it some of my embellishments by placing my shells and plants, in all the frames.  I use a little fishing net to creating a maritime aspect to my card.

Today I´ve made a card using one amazing Die Set. This card that I made remember me the hot days of summer!!!! I look forward to summer and vacations, and Ice-Cream!!!!! Ohhhh YES!!!!

Vintage Baby Girl Colection | Laserowe Love

Selfie Tilda | Swedish Housecrafts

Hello  my Crafty Friends!!!! Today I´ve made a Little Book for Swedish Housecrafts, using the stunning Magnolia Stamp "Selfie Tilda" from Hugs & Kisses collection. I use my prismacolor pencils to colour her, and I use the beautiful "Joyous Winterdays" Collection from Maja Design.

Here is my project, I hope you´re like it!!!

I've made my flowers with Foamiran - Red, using the gorgeous dies from "Lady E Dies", the "Flower 004" and it is so easy to use. With Foamiran you can choose any colour you like to make your flower, creating them to your style.
