Woven Basket Box Card | Karen Burniston

Hello Crafty friends!!!!!

Another week and another project.
Today I decided to show you a pop-up card at the request of a special person, My Mother. And we never need any specific date to give someone a nice card, do we? Then as my mother has a beautiful and nice canary and how she likes plants and flowers so much, I decided to cheer her home with this beautiful card. I use, of course, the fantastic new set "Woven Basket Box Card".

"The Woven Basket Box Card checks off two common requests  from fans of the brand - a standalone box card die set and a new version of the cute tiny woven basket from a now-retired Props set. This die set does both. It features tapered sides, a woven texture, rope handles and grassy crossbars. Everything is very user-friendly, as you will see in this assembly video:"

"This die does differ from our Flower Pot Pop-up die set. The Flower Pot is smaller and is designed to be installed inside a card. The Woven Basket is meant to be a standalone card that you flatten and mail. However, if you own both sets, you'll be able to mix and match the decorator pieces (flowers & vines) between the two sets and they do not duplicate."

The Winter is coming!!!!!

HI MY CRAFTY FRIENDS!!!!!

Today I´ve made another card for Karen Burniston Designer Team!!!!!  I´ve make a card to wellcome to the Winter... Here in Portugal the cold is already felt and accompanied with much rain. In my city it does not snow, but in the highest mountain of my Country there is already snow. So this card is to announce the arrival of winter.

I´ve use the combination of the Pivot Panels die set - the Evergreen and Tag Book Pop-up.

For this card I choose a very old paper pad from Holiday Style "October Afternoon paper pad, and I cut several pictures from the paper pad to make my scene.

The House & Fence Pop-up - Dear Diary

HI MY CRAFTY FRIENDS!!!!!

Today I´ve made another card for October Karen Burniston Designer Challenge!!!!! Our challenge theme this month is .... "HAPPY FALL, Y'ALL!" - make a card celebrating fall, autumn or Thanksgiving. So my project for the October Designer Challenge had to be a Fall Card.

The House & Fence Pop-up is a very versatile die set. It comes with a Floating Floor mechanism that can be used for so many other things. Plus, the house can be styled for any season. To learn how to assemble this die, check out the video tutorial here: Die Assembly Video - 1015 House & Fence Pop-up. The House & Fence is also going to be great for year-round cards for any theme. This card uses the Tree Pop-up, Nature Edges, Winter Animals and Word Set 1.

For this card I choose the amazing Mintay Dear Diary Paper Pad, and I cut several pictures from the paper pad to make my scene.

Welcome to our October Karen Burniston Designer Challenge!!!!! Our challenge theme this month is .... "HAPPY FALL, Y'ALL!" - make a card celebrating fall, autumn or Thanksgiving.

So my project for the October Designer Challenge had to be a Fall Card.  I made good use of some old patterned paper in my stash from Graphic 45.
